The Mississippi Valley Blues Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate the public about the native art of blues music. Their mission is met by the performance, interpretation and preservation of the blues music. They hope that the public will understand and appreciate the music.

There will be a 2009 Grand Cities Art Fest on June 13 and June 14, 2009 at the banks of the Red River. This is an annual festival that draws about 35,000 visitors to the downtowns of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. It is considered as one of the biggest festival in the region.

On 1938 a Louise Chambers Corkran found the Rehoboth Art League (RAL) that encourages interest and participation in cultural and artistic activities. Homestead property and building that were adjacent to the League grounds were acquired on 1978. Louise Corkran family home was constructed in 1743 by Peter Marsh at the Homestead area. There home is still there and is considered as a National Register of Historic Places. It is one of the oldest houses in Rehoboth Beach and has been restored to provide additional gallery space.

Watkins Mill Association will be having their Spring on the Farm on April 18, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. The location for this years Spring on the Farm will be at the Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site. There will activities that you will enjoy and learn from.
